OUR DUBLIN HISTORY

Nestled on the banks of the Scioto River, Dublin was settled in 1802. It was incorporated as a village in 1881, and was still a village in 1970 with only 681 residents. In 1987, Dublin became a city and, today, boasts a residential base of 36,300

OUR DUBLIN SCHOOLS
The Dublin School District, located 16 miles north and northwest of Columbus, encompasses 47 square miles in most of Dublin and parts of Columbus, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Delaware County and Union County. There are currently 19 schools in operation: 3 high schools, 4 middle schools, 11 elementary schools and one preschool, with an additional elementary school soon to be added.
